Description: This module describes and guides you through the game design steps while in production. It contains a checklist, guidelines and best practises. After the concept is ready and approved one can start to design the game. We'll cover holding the vision for the game, design document and also we'll look into what a game designer actually does and how prioritising is really important. We'll look into what are the biggest problems and how to overcome those. Also we'll cover storyline, level design, learning curve and other basic areas of game design. You will be handed useful tools and checklists to ensure you're creating the best possible game.
Contents: 12 pages, 8 exercises, checklist, guidelines, principles and design document template.
Requirements: Game in production or soon to be in production. Solid concept and understanding of the theory behind game design.
Outcome: You will have considered your game from all aspects, avoided some general pitfalls and you know have a good toolset of guidelines and checklists.
